Today on NepoGirl — Tyla just dropped the music video for her new single “Bliss”, and it’s everything the name promises: sultry, nostalgic, and dripping in early 2000s pop princess energy.
The track is smooth and sensual, giving soft Y2K vocals with that moody, euphoric undertone that takes you right back to when music felt like a diary entry. It’s giving emotional, dramatic, and pretty — in the best way.

The video, directed by Director X and produced by UnderWonder Content, opens with Tyla in a white Dolce & Gabbana bra, black shorts, strappy heels, and long curly hair. She looks like the moment; confident, effortless, and classic. Pop princess behavior, per usual.
From there, we’re taken into an ethereal scene: clouds, rope swings, and a soft glam pixie cut with side bangs. She’s literally suspended above the clouds, right after singing through tears — a visual metaphor for being overwhelmed by love, intimacy, and that all-consuming feeling of bliss.

Tyla singing through tears really added to the feel of the video — a visual metaphor for being overwhelmed by love, intimacy, and that all-consuming feeling of bliss.
She then switches it up in a black crop top, mini skirt, and calf-length boots, walking that thin line between soft and strong, delicate and fierce.

And just when you think it couldn’t hit harder, there’s this dual-screen moment where she sings directly into the camera, with her side profile on the other side. I have no idea what this type of frame is called but I liked it!

“Bliss,” for me, isn’t just another great Tyla track. it’s also callback to when pop music felt personal and actually inspired you. Since it’s release, we’ve been playing it on loop.
muah, nepo girl.
